Danielle is an experienced teacher and psychologist with 13 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and their parents. She holds a degree in education in addition to her Honours in psychology, and Master in Clinical Psychology, from which she graduated with distinction.
Danielle has worked in hospitals, private practice, and schools with various presentations including ADHD, anxiety, depression, challenging behaviours, and learning difficulties.
Danielle primarily works from a cognitive-behavioural perspective, and she is currently undertaking a scholarship through the Sydney Medical School where she is training in psychodynamic interpersonal psychotherapy, a type of therapy aimed at addressing early developmental experiences which can sometimes adversely affect functioning and personality.
Danielle provides assessments and individual therapy to children, adolescents, and adults, and she is available for consultation to school counsellors and teachers. Adolescent depression is one area of specific interest.
Danielle is available for appointments every Tuesday and Wednesday, and Saturday by pre-arranged bookings.
