Neurofeedback is an effective form of therapy for children (over 6 years) and adults with AD/HD. It is also effective in the management of sleep difficulties. It is an evidenced based intervention tested in clinical trials and provides an alternative treatment from medication.
Neurofeedback is a treatment approach which measures brain activity via sensors placed on the scalp, with activity then visualised on a monitor. This allows a person to voluntarily control brain activity by influencing the signal on the screen. Over a gradual learning process, the brain is rewarded for changing its activity to more appropriate patterns.
The type of Neurofeedback provided in our practice is called Slow Cortical Potential (SCP) neurofeedback, an approach widely applied in Europe.

Each session consists of neurofeedback training and individual therapeutic support
